Over his 43 years in the field, he has made significant contributions through both practice and education. Dr. Bartlett’s 21 years of active-duty service as an Aerospace Physiologist in the United States Navy were particularly impactful. His role involved developing and implementing cutting-edge training programs for Navy, Marine Corps, and Air Force pilots and aircrew, enhancing their performance in extreme conditions.

His expertise also extended to training Navy SEALs, NASA astronauts, and Hollywood actors, and he was notably selected as the personal exercise physiologist for the Blue Angels Flight Demonstration Team. In addition to his military achievements, Dr. Bartlett has been a prominent lecturer, addressing over 70,000 active-duty personnel on topics related to nutrition, exercise, and performance improvement. Following this, Tomas gained experience at MedStar Harbor in Baltimore, working in the Post Anesthesia Care and Interventional Radiology units. His role involved overseeing the care of post-operative patients and professional athletes, which broadened his expertise in both recovery and specialized medical procedures. Tomas also explored cosmetic medicine, focusing on intravenous hydration therapy, which added to his diverse skill set. Her military background is particularly notable for its breadth, spanning roles in Emergency medicine, Medical-Surgical nursing, and Operating Room nursing. After transitioning to civilian service, she continued to excel as a Perioperative nurse at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland, where she has dedicated the last eleven years to providing specialized care. Her career demonstrates a profound dedication to both military and civilian healthcare environments.
